At Fong’s we offer classes for kids, teens and adults, from beginner to advanced levels. We offer the complete Tang Fung Hung Ga system, past down from Wong Fei Hung, presented in a traditional and student friendly format to make learning this ancient art more robust and effective. At Fong’s we focus on self-defense techniques, sparing, empty hand techniques, fitness, conditioning and traditional Chinese weapons. During the training the major emphasis is on the development of a strong foundation (firm stances and powerful strikes) through the execution of stance exercises, the performance of Kui Sao (bridge hand training), and through dynamic tension. With consistent training, one will become physically stronger, gains better endurance and more energy overall. We utilize a progressive training system, which allows students to learn at their own pace. Forms, techniques, strength, flexibility and endurance all increase as per the student's ability to handle each. There is no "schedule" for becoming better in these aspects. With consistent training, all of your abilities will increase.
